Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about TrackChief, TrackChief Pro, and the motorcycle track-day workflow.

Is TrackChief free?

Yes. TrackChief Free includes the essential TrackChief tools — garage / motorcycle management, Tire PSI Reference, the track directory, event discovery, and a basic track-day checklist — at no cost. TrackChief Pro adds the advanced tools for $4.99/month or $49/year (US pricing). Eligible new subscribers may be offered a 14-day free trial. The App Store or Google Play shows the final price, including any taxes, before you confirm.

What platforms does TrackChief support?

TrackChief is being built as a native mobile app for iOS and Android. It is not yet publicly available in either store — official links will appear on this website when each version launches. There is no web app; all setup, logging, reference, and trackside tools live in the mobile app.

Do I need TrackChief Pro?

No. TrackChief Free covers the essentials that most riders reach for at a track day. TrackChief Pro is for riders who want the deeper toolkit — Ride Log, Suspension Assistant, Torque Specs, the Gearing & Sprocket Calculator, the Unit Converter, and the Checklist Builder.

What does TrackChief Pro include?

TrackChief Pro includes Ride Log, Suspension Assistant, Torque Specs, the Gearing & Sprocket Calculator, the Unit Converter, and the Checklist Builder — in addition to everything in TrackChief Free. (Free includes a basic track-day checklist; the Checklist Builder lets Pro users create their own.)

How does the 14-day Pro trial work?

Eligible new Pro subscribers may be offered a 14-day free trial. Any trial is started inside the TrackChief mobile app and is managed by the App Store or Google Play, which decide eligibility and show the exact terms before you confirm. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the store will begin charging for the subscription you selected.

Can I cancel TrackChief Pro?

Yes. TrackChief Pro is managed through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel from your Apple or Google subscription settings (see Apple's instructions or Google Play's instructions). Under the stores' standard rules, access generally continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

What happens to my data if I cancel Pro?

Canceling Pro does not delete your TrackChief account — your account stays in place unless you request deletion. Pro-only tools stop being available when your Pro access ends.

Does TrackChief replace a suspension technician?

No. TrackChief is a reference and logging tool. It helps you organize suspension adjustments and see what you've tried across sessions — but it does not replace professional suspension technicians, mechanics, tire vendors, manufacturers, or crew chiefs.

Where do TrackChief's suspension settings come from?

From manufacturers' published owner's manuals, summarized in our own words, with each card naming its source. Damping suggestions are TrackChief's interpretation of that guidance, and your product's manual always comes first. See Suspension Sources & Disclaimer.

How do I report incorrect tire pressure or torque specification information?

The tire PSI and torque specification information in TrackChief is intended as reference material, not manufacturer-authoritative data — always verify with your tire vendor, manufacturer, or crew. If you spot something that looks wrong, email trackchiefapp@gmail.com or use the Support form with topic "Technical Support / Bug Report" and include the bike, tire or component, the value shown, and the correct value with source. We'll review and correct.

I run a trackday organization or riding school. How can I work with TrackChief?

We'd love to hear from you. Fill out the Work With TrackChief form on the homepage and pick the option that best fits — trackday organization, riding school, timing / technology, vendor, sponsorship, or media collaboration.

How do I delete my account?

If you still have access to the TrackChief mobile app, delete your account from Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. If you no longer have access to the app, request deletion from the Delete Account page. Deleting your account is separate from canceling a subscription — cancel any App Store or Google Play subscription separately. See the Delete Account page for what deletion covers.
